Whew! I am finally writing my second blog post and as you can see, it took me almost a year to write it. I could have really waited for the first one’s anniversary, but since the last one left people for wanting for more, I decided to do it now. Honestly, I have made several attempts to get back to blogging(or, get started?), but kept delaying it due to being lazy(and eventually forgot what I was going to write about). I even had a chance to write a post to convince my good friend, now Microsoft employee, David DeWinter to stay at Extend Health. As much as I wanted him to stay, I also wanted to occasionally use this line in my arguments: “Hey, shut it! My friend told me this and he works at Microsoft!”. Yes, Dave, that is the reason why I did not write a post at that time
. Now, back to blogging. I want a place to keep track of various things I learn as a Software Developer. However, I also don’t want to write long posts explaining those things in details. Thus, I came up with a better idea for this blog: I will be doing short “Did you know” posts where I will share cool little things I learn everyday. You might say, Sara Ford already does that! Well, Sara Ford works for Microsoft, which makes her cooler than me! The real answer to that question is that she mostly blogs about tricks and features found in Visual Studio. I on the other hand, am planning on doing it on pretty much anything that I find useful and relative to software development. I also realize it might leave some readers with questions about details. Thus, I expect anyone who reads my posts or is interested in what I write, to say: “Prove it!” or something smart like that in the comments section. It is easier and less time consuming for me to just answer those questions in details when they come up than trying to guess what people want to know more about. Anyway, let’s get started!
My second blog post ever.
